Great North Web has recently produced a charity website to benefit Great Lakes Center for Autism with 2007's Give Autism the Boot fundraising campaign.
Great North Web provided web design and hosting, and asks for you to support this worthy cause.
With WTOL Channel 11 as media sponsor and the UAW Local 12 as Premier Sponsor, The Great Lakes Center for Autism is proud to bring the second annual Give Autism the Boot! Campaign to Northwest Ohio. Local programs providing help to people affected by autism will benefit from this fundraising campaign. Last year we distributed over $47,000.00 to support autism programs. With your help this year, we can continue to make a positive impact on the local community.

The Great North Web partners with Talent Pool LA to produce video voting system to benefit Shelter for Serenity
Great North Web has recently partnered with Talent Pool LA to produce a video voting system to benefit the Shelter for Serenity, a housing charity founded by Luc Robitaille, retired hockey player for the LA Kings.
More than 100 actors submitted film reels to Reel Actors Film Festival, and Great North Web developed a system to view the videos and cast a vote for their favorite.
The video player utilizes Flash combined with an scalable database and XML. The video player communicated back to the database, allowing the voter to tag the current video as their favorite.
This feature rich tool can be easily customized and greatly simplifies the process of displaying video content.

The Great North Web implements most intensive community assessment to date for Michigan Department of Community Health.
MDCH has continued their research projects with Daston Communications and Great North Web for the fourth straight year by launching the most intensive on-line assessment to date — Promoting Active Communities.
This is a redesign of the original PAC online assessment, and includes 14 survey sections collecting over 300 data points.
The project saw many improvements in design and functionality, including dynamic menuing, enhanced content management features, and complex scoring logic.
The sheer scope and short deadline of this application required the callaboration of the
entire Great North Web team, under the management of Jason Grow. The team pulled together to work through each phase of the project from conception and prototyping to testing and delivery.
